A Fort Worth native, Lane attended Nolan Catholic High School and proceeded on to Southern Methodist University. In 2001 he got his first job in the restaurant business working for a friend at a large seafood restaurant in Fort Worth. From this point on he was “hooked” on the business!

Joe spent the next 8 years working at different restaurants in various positions to learn everything he could about the business. The experience and knowledge that Lane gained laid the groundwork for a valuable skill set.

Lane’s family moved to Aledo in 2003. He soon saw Fish Creek as an opportunity to use his skills and become an entrepreneur. The Fish Creek location had been riddled with failed restaurants. Joe’s determination to succeed was put to the test! Lane had no money but, his business plan was impressive and a business partner shared his vision. Years of hard work and determination has paid off! Joe has re-energized the restaurant and is now the sole owner of one of the most successful restaurants in Parker County.
