This is from our oyster vendor up North, and may give you a little insight into what is going on.
- Rain and wind are the story of the week. This is causing closures and extending others. For example, Connecticut is closed and they won’t start testing until the rain is over!
- Although we have a great selection of Atlantic oysters this week, several varieties are very limited.
- For Bluepoints we are limited to Long Island product this week due to the closures. Quantities are very limited.
