Kyle Waters III was born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge. He attended culinary school at the Culinary Arts Intistute of Louisiana, then shortly after moved back to New Orleans. Upon arrival in New Orleans he started working at Herbsaint in 2005, where he quickly became a sous chef. In 2009 he moved to sister restaurant Cochon and worked there until 2011 when he moved to Lafayette to open Cochon Lafayette as Chef de Cusine. In 2013 Cochon Laffayette closed and Kyle joined the team of Ruffino’s. In May of 2013 Kyle opened Ruffino’s on the River as Chef de Cusine and that is where you will find him today.
