Chef Michelle Youngberg

Michelle Youngberg is the Executive Chef at the Kitchenary in Lafayette, LA. She also does catering through her company Heather Mountain Catering. Cooking is her passion! She has been in the restaurant business most of her life running restaurants for other people, until she decided it was time to run her own. Her cooking style brings big bold flavors using the freshest herbs and ingredients from local growers, based on her philosophy that fresh food is best. It tastes great and is wonderful in its most natural and unadulterated state. Fat doesn’t make food taste good, fresh and simple does. Support local, eat seasonal, and it is bound to be good.
